SWOT Analysis – Social Media for Hospitals

Currently medical institutions are facing a marketing and customer service crisis as they fight to retain their patient population and meet their demands.
Hospitals are the face of patient care, with pertinent information on locally available doctors/pathological services and treatment plans that are actionable in terms of patients physically visiting the facility.

Social media is a great alternative that helps medical institutions, patients and their families communicate and collaborate with relevant information; and access supportive online communities.

A SWOT analysis will easily prove this to be true.
